Event Photographer for the Peace Concert

Hey Everybody,

Looks like I will be covering the Winter Benefit Concert at the San Ramon High School Valley Performing Arts Center on Jan. 30th. The band PEACE featuring Jorge Santana and Aki Starr is a new and explosive “tribute” band performing the genre known as “Latin Rock” with a touch of Woodstock—a sound that originated deep in the heart of San Francisco’s multicultural neighborhoods of the late 60’s and early 70’s. Influences include world-famous bands such as Santana, War, Tower of Power, Sly & the Family Stone and Malo. PEACE features the captivating stage presence of Jorge Santana’s with his iconic guitar riffs and solos, Aki Starr an excellent singer and performer in his own right. Along with world class percussion section backed up by classic keyboards, smooth vocals and dance moves, all performed by current and former members of these world-renowned groups. May PEACE be with you!

The evening will include special appearances by SRVHS Instrumental Music Students. This will be an awesome time for some select students to perform with these greats.

Proceeds to benefit the San Ramon Valley High School Instrumental Music programs.
I am donating my Time, Talent and Resources to this benefit cancert.

It was 1 year ago today!

The year 2009 the date Jan. 3rd. in the Presido of Northern California. Hannah Halverson and Scott Sargent made it official and got married. The day was a wonderful warm day, which meant that the outdoor photo session would be enjoyable. First was the photos with the groom and grooms men, or referred to by some as the "Rat Pack".

The above image is a favorite among the followers  (extra post processing to a B&W image gives it that old time feel).

After an hour or so then it was time for the ladies.

We spent a lot of time capturing moments in and around "Lucas Studios" I have to say "I always have the best time doing what I love to do".  Our next stop was the wedding chapel.

The pastor shared a brief history of Hannah and Scott's lives up to that point.
The ceremony itself was not too long and not too short, it was just right (as Goldie Locks says) and when it was all over there was

"The Kiss".

After that a big party broke out with laughing, crying and dancing...lots of dancing.

But you know when that angel floated by I knew it was going to be alright.

The End...
